The GerillAR art project is redefining the concept of the poster by using modern technology (AR). After you scan the posters, you will be able to discover the hidden, moving content of various designers around the city.

The idea behind the GerillAR art project is based on how we use and appreciate advertising spaces in the public sphere, such as posters and billboards, in our world today. 

We launched a competition for moving contents for all designers who wanted to become part of a vibrant and innovative graphic “movement”. 

During the project, we considered it important to create a "parallel world", a "living organism" that includes buildings, spaces and people living or visiting the city, creating a virtual, moving augmented exhibition that includes whole Budapest. There were more than 50 participants, with 44 works, and we also created an exhibition with 20 posters at Design Week Budapest 2019. We made the posters and the whole project design, so it was a collaboration between us and the other designers, and it was also a collaboration between the project and the city.
