Ink and quiet

«Ink and quiet» is a new project of a calligrapher and letterer Olga Kovalenko, a student of Moscow School of Calligraphy of Yevgeny Dobrovinsky. It is an embroidery based on cola pen calligraphy. This is what the author says about the conception of the project: «Time is like a car with an unreliable motor — one moment is stalls, the next moment it accelerates. Moments of joy slip through the fingers. Things which you want to leave behind stretch to eternity. Slow embroidery along the contour of expressive calligraphy is an attempt to make the moment last and the inability to accelerate it».
